Loyalsock (3-2) again made Montoursville earn it the hard way in a game it led 7-6 at halftime. “Everyone did a heck of a job, the line receivers, the defense … everyone. I’m speechless,” Dalena said as he held the trophy. “I was thinking about this game all day and couldn’t wait to play. Isaiah Fenner caught seven passes for 114 yards, the Warriors (3-2) snapped a two-game losing streak and they overcame a valiant Loyalsock effort in a game where the momentum swung luck a pendulum all night in front of an overflowing, boisterous crowd. Rocco Pulizzi ran for 211 yards and three touchdowns Maddix Dalena threw for 218 yards and the defense made two big late stops as Montoursville won a 26-21 thriller against Loyalsock and captured the Bridge Trophy for a sixth straight time. In another classic rivalry game where both teams did everything possible to help their teams win, the Bridge remained in Montoursville control. Because when seemingly everybody in both communities was watching Friday night, Montoursville emerged victorious again.
